About Shippable Studio

Shippable Studio is a product studio that incubates, builds, and develops technology products with a strategic and operational approach. We help founders and companies build and launch the first version of their product in 2-4 weeks, focusing on speed and execution.

The Role

You'll be the architect of our AI-driven features. You'll spend your time prompt tuning, building RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines, and ensuring our AI agents are fast, reliable, and helpful. You're not just a researcher; you're a builder who wants to see AI in the hands of real users.

What you’ll do

• Build Diverse Products: You won't just build one thing. You'll ship AI wrappers, clones of successful SaaS products, and intelligent features for B2C mobile apps.
• Optimize RAG Pipelines: Work with vector databases and search algorithms to give LLMs the context they need to be brilliant.
• Prompt Engineering & Fine-tuning: Squeeze every bit of performance out of models like GPT-4, Claude 3, and Llama 3.
• Integrate & Ship: Work closely with Full Stack Engineers to integrate AI features into our Next.js/Node.js stack.

Who you are

• AI-First & Fundamentals: We are an AI-first agency and spend our days inside Cursor and Claude Code. However, we believe AI is a multiplier, not a replacement. We value engineers who have their software architecture and engineering fundamentals nailed down, so they can effectively guide the AI to build robust, maintainable systems.
• High Agency: You don't wait for permission or perfect specs. You figure things out. If you're blocked, you find a way around.
• Indie Hacker Mindset: You've built and shipped side projects. You know that code is just a means to an end—the goal is value for the user.
• Bias for Action: You believe that action produces information. You'd rather ship a v1 today and iterate than debate architecture for a week.
